A touch of spring

I feel a touch of spring

though days are still windy and cold

i am aware of many signs unfold

i feel a touch of spring

you can smell it in a sudden breeze

you’ll hear it in the singing of the birds

i feel a touch of spring

you see it in the budding trees

with the greenest green still hidden

for it’s not yet time

just wait a while

untill the Sun will warm this earth

i feel a touch of spring

as if God turns His face towards me

i feel a touch of Love

i feel a touch of grace

i look to nature and kinda look right into His face

and i feel blessed by His warm embrace

how long ago we’ve lost it

and how much we need it

how many times we search for it

how often we have longed for it

will we ever regain

our innocence

Innocence versus guilt.

opposite dynamics

within the realms of the cross

they’re far  more than opposite dynamics

in a lifelong search

cleansed by the blood of Jesus

we’re bloodstained and renewed

was it just luck or divine interference

as an innocent bystander i just happened to be around

like  Moses looked at the burning scrub bush

where God spoke out to him and said

“ take of your shoes for you’re standing on holy ground”

innocent is what we were  in our mothers whomb

guilty is what we are throughout our daily life

mercy is what we receive at a wooden cross

innocence we will regain through His empty tomb

for He is the creator of innocence
