To sit down

To sit down,
all is quiet now.
Just close my eyes
open up my heart  mind spirit and will.
Hear his voice in silence
Tells my soul: Be still.

Let My spirit guide you.

Through these thoughts.
To be this close with God,
to have this intimacy with Him,
to show Him all my hopes and fear
and bring before Him all mankind,

. . .in prayer

Assistens Kierkegaard (Copenhagen)

I have been on a citytrip to Copenhagen to meet one of my favourtie philosophers. I visited his grave, looked for the house where he was born and all this inspired me to write this poem about the graveyard in Copenhagen. All kinds of famous artists are buried here. When the weather is fine, people from all over Copenhagen gather here, having a picknick or lovers meet here to sit down, have glass of wine together, talking to eachother etc. These were the words that came up immediately while i was walking on the site and saw what was happening before my eyes.

Making love between the dead
Kissing on the greenest grass
Where artists rest in peace
And lovers feel at ease

Philosophers and writers
Have found a place to rest
 young people found their way
To put true love to its test

I  hear her whispering in his ear
O my love my dearest dear
If you dare to kiss my lips
Beside this grave
Than i know for shure
Within your arms forever
I'll  be safe

WEAKNESS AS A STRENGTH

Weakness as a strength
meeknes as a virtue
peace as an attitude
far before our time
there was this bloodstained cross
where a peacefull young men bled
bowed His head
and was as dead as dead
And in a tomb they laid him down
anointed him with oil and herbs
covered him in a shroud
and his friends cried out loud
while in a  dead end street a thief has fled
the religious leaders held their feast instead
The man who works with wood
shook his head and took his tool
and said...
“only a fool
only a fool. . .
. . . has said in his heart there is no God”
