Tick tack the clock’s ticking
every tick brings us closer to the Lord
Tick Tack the clock’s ticking
every time i think this is absurd

Tick tack the clock’s ticking
by the way we are not here to stay
Tick tack the clock’s ticking
there’s one more thing i’d like to say

Tick tack the clock’s ticking
2014 lays just a few days ahead
tick tack the clock’s ticking
our Father is above all time

tick tack the clock’s ticking
i wonder what He’s weighing in His hand
tick tack the clock’s ticking
must be something from another land

tick tack the clock’s ticking
time is mostly much too late
only Father Son and Spirit
will be there to feed our faith

tick tack the clock’s ticking
broken bondages don’t stand
tick tack the clock’s ticking
things have gotten out of hand

tick tack the clock’s ticking
tick tack the clock’s ticking
tick tack the Father spoke
tick tack the Son will rise
tick tack the Spirit guides

Broken winged

For every time i have said
those words i love you
i want to shed a tear
when you are gone

For every kiss we’ve kissed
because i love you
i want to shed a tear
when you are gone

For every glimpse of understanding
unspoken words yet comprehended
i want to shed a tear
when you are gone

For time will come
that one of us will have to leave
this world behind
the other half unbalanced broken
and countless times these words ‘i love you’ left unspoken

one of us will dance alone
a forced unwanted solo dance
for so much love the price we pay
is being broken winged and still go on.

Struck out in two area's!

“When God wants to talk to his people he talks to them in three ways
first
He touches them where it hurts in their economy
if that doesn’t get their attention than he touches their ecology.
the rain the locust the famines the earthquakes ,so on
and if that doesn’t work he raises up a nation to come and invade them.
i think we have struck out in two of those area’s.”

Remarkable

Remarkable it is
the journey we’re on
the travels that we make
the marvels we encounter
the hardships we all take

Remarkable it is
the life we live  each day
the love we share with all
to live after the fall
the prayers that we pray

Remarkable it is
to be healed by rain
to die to self and gain
heaven all the same
we praise but one name

Remarkable it is
out of the falling  sky
God seeks to abide
in us unholy men
no matter what the costs
aiming for souls lost

Remarkable it is
the journey we’re on
the travels that we make
the marvels we encounter
the wonders we partake

Questioning the resurrection.

What kind of tongues do madmen speak
in order to get saved
What words they use
what thoughts they think
tp witness to the meek

How often do we take a look
inside our foolish heart
and stare into our Saviours eyes
where there was love
just form the start

How rare are our repentance  prayers
for we can’t find the words
we daily live under His grace
and hardly understand
how deeply we are loved by Him
and by a  depth we do not comprehend

What forces held Him underground
what force made Him his slave
who kept him three days in the deep
imprisoned in a cave
what white magic brought Him back alive
and made Him  bust out of His grave

LARRY NORMAN 5 years gone

Today i celebrate his life
remembering his songs
five years from now he flew away
leaving behind a legacy
of christian rock and roll

As he  rolled away a stone during his musical career
up till this day
we hear the ripples in the sea of time
and how he told us all about
his greatest love of all
Jesus
as he so often  sang out loud

While the bloodstained israelite lays down
waiting till the resurrectionday
we remember
how he  performed and took a stand
for Jesus and the poor
now living in another land

we remember
how he rocked the flock
here on this earth
only visiting this planet
witnessing out on the streets
like moses tending sheep

he talked about the king of kings
while he himself sometimes
was in trouble deep
kept pointing toward the open door
upheld finger into the sky
crawling toward the lamb
Talking ‘bout Jesus just the same

How we all miss Larry so deeply.

Off balance

Jesus throws everything off balance
Dying daily at self centeredness
I take shelter in His tenderness
All the way down to the sewers of my soul
He is there
Into  the most hidden parts and the darkest corners
Of my deepest   thoughts
He is there
He opens up  spreading His light
Confronting me with how i really am
As a mirror on the wall
He is there
Together with the crumbling  pieces  of fallen frieindship and broken bondage
He stands firm and steady as a rock
Like a sheperd  should
Already  knowing that i would but couldn't make it on my own
He is there.
Jesus throws everything off balance
Dying daily at self centeredness
I take shelter in His tenderness
For He is always there.
